Our approach
The Hansen Foundation exists to support comprehensive, end-to-end holistic rehabilitation of the whole person who seeks recovery. We provide the resources needed to help restore those in need – and thrive, as productive members of society post-treatment. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we’ve helped thousands across the country to reclaim their lives, rebuild their families, regain purpose, reestablish confidence and ultimately – revitalize our communities, one life at a time.
The Foundation’s 5 Pillars
The Hansen Foundation provides safe, affordable housing to help individuals transition from treatment to independent living. We provide scholarships for treatment for people who may not have the means. Our life skills programs teach stress management, goal setting, and healthy coping strategies to support personal growth. Through advocacy, we fight addiction stigma and push for better access to treatment. We believe recovery support is lifelong, offering job training, employment coaching, and community events to foster connection and stability.
